The place was in a convenient spot near the CTICC, comfortable, and budget‑friendly, so I’d book again if I ever return. I stayed for about 10 days and wished the room had been cleaned weekly at no extra cost; a face cloth would also have been nice.

I was in Cape Town for a three‑day CTICC conference, and the hotel was a three‑minute walk from the venue, so I didn’t need taxis. When my flight was delayed, the owner kindly let me check out later, which I really appreciated. The neighbourhood, though, is plagued with homeless drug users; as a lone female traveler, I stuck to daytime activities.

The location wasn’t bad, but at night I encountered several people who seemed to be dealing with drug‑related issues. The hotel is frequented by a mix of folks—families, and sometimes prostitutes—so I ran into both while walking the corridors with my family.
