Perfect cleanliness. We arrived by car and, even with a GPS, we arranged a meeting point at the church downstairs. We had to walk up a narrow, winding street to the accommodation. For the parking spot we paid 20 € (parking is scarce in the area). A local bus (line bus) stops directly in front of the door to the church several times a day, costs 1 € and there are no stop signs or destination labels on the bus. The view is fantastic. There is a narrow balcony that is well‑used if you’re two people. Walking up the Limonenweg with 333 steps takes about 10 minutes to reach the church.
Everything was simply amazing. I haven’t experienced that level of hospitality and warmth in a long time. Even an emergency doctor could be arranged on short notice for the two of us. The homemade lemon jam was absolutely incredible, as was the lemoncello. Two great people who truly love caring for guests. Just wow. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The staff were friendly and the service was good, with a pickup offer and a focus on making sure guests were comfortable. The Wi‑Fi was weak and the hotel was a bit far from the city center.
I liked the lovely house; it was so beautiful and Philomena was so lovely and great with the kids—all together it was a lovely experience. Nothing else to add.
We had an excellent stay, very good reception and well‑located on the lemon tree trail. The breakfast was very good and plentiful.
