The spot is right by the bar walkway and the bridge to Arraial D'Ajuda, so getting around is a breeze. Mr Elpididio was super friendly and helpful. The room itself was a bit cramped, and the bathroom had no divider—no glass or curtain—plus the window looked straight onto the stairs, so it felt a little exposed. We only stayed one night, but if we were here longer we'd definitely ask for a different room.

The rooms were comfy and the cleaning was spot‑on, but we had a bit of trouble locating the place. Nothing that stopped us from enjoying the stay.

We had a rough start—rainy day, kid in tow, and nobody answered the intercom, phone, or even the car horn in front of the inn. The neighbor had to pick up the call, and after a day of trying the owner explained the intercom had failed because of the weather, but the lights were on, so power was fine. If there's a glitch, at least someone should be at the door. It felt disrespectful, so I can't recommend it.
