The hotel is very nice and quiet, the owners are friendly, the room is clean with a comfortable bed, and the French‑style breakfast served in a beautiful living room is good. However, the room description should state whether there is a toilet in the room; ours had a shower but shared toilets were on the floor. It’s not a problem because the toilets are shared among a few rooms and are almost private, but I’d prefer an accurate description when booking.

The house was beautiful and the location great, with amazing views and a pool; the hosts were very friendly and the breakfasts were tasty—bread, croissants, yogurt, cereals, brioche, and a great selection of jams. Getting there by public transport was a bit tough, but a taxi could be arranged from Culoz station, and an en‑suite toilet in the bedroom would have been preferable.
