Massimo was super helpful and even assisted us when we arrived. There are a few steps to reach the room, but that’s just part of Scicli and nearby villages. It’s essentially an apartment with a kitchen and stove, well maintained, and the price is very fair. Parking can be a bit inconvenient—you need to be lucky to find one, though there are plenty of free spots near San Bartolomeo church.

Massimo was a wonderful host, greeting us as we drove into Scicli, helping with parking, and then escorting us to his B&B. Our apartment was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Massimo offered great dining and sightseeing tips. We were in town for the Festa della Madonna delle Milizie, which was a real treat. Don’t miss the Chiesa di Santa Maria della Croce—a simple but beautiful church with wonderful views. If you’re visiting Scicli, stay with Massimo!

The location was good! The host was very helpful, for example with carrying luggage, and the patio was nice. We were missing advance information that the small apartment is 80 stairs up and requires good strength and stamina to carry luggage.

The location, Massimo’s friendliness, and the pleasant terrace. You need to be fit to move around the town because there are many stairs.
