“Great staff, good amenities, location. One of my favorites.”
Maria was wonderful at serving breakfast and making great coffee; she was pleasant and helpful and even claimed to remember me from a previous stay, which made me feel good. Cynthia explained my requests to Markus (with a K), and because I couldn’t open the blinds in my first‑floor room with steps, I felt unsafe. Markus was empathetic and helped me move to another room, for which I’m still grateful. I like Sonesta when I’m in LA, which is my home; the proximity to LAX, food shopping, and the beach is great, and the parking is very convenient. The staff are helpful and the overall vibe is very nice. The only negative was that the carpet wasn’t very clean, but that’s a common issue in most hotels.

THET CHARGED ME 2 TIMES FOR THE ROOM. I USED TO DIFFERENT CARD TO PAY FOR DEPOSIT AND FOR THE ROOM. MONEY IS GONE FROM BOTH CARDS!!!!!!!!! I’m coming back to LA and will definitely come with the police
The neighborhood was quiet, the room was large and had a microwave and fridge. However, hygiene was poor with stains on the sofa and carpet, used towels, and no cleaning was done.

I appreciated the room’s design and size, the balcony, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, TV, hot shower, and hairdryer, and the staff were helpful, friendly, and polite. A small shop near reception was convenient, and the free airport shuttle bus added value; the location was close to fast‑food and grocery stores. However, the bathroom sink was outside the actual bathroom, which felt unhygienic, and the only mirror was positioned behind it—so far away I could barely see to put my contacts in. There was no full‑length mirror, so I couldn’t check my concert outfit, and the toilet seat was too high. Netflix forced me to sign up for a new account and wouldn’t let me log into my existing one.
