“Room was inadequate, but staff was great”

The check‑in and check‑out process and staff members were kind, friendly and helpful, which I really appreciate. The room we were given needed a major renovation and cleaning; the bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable, the easy chair was stained and I was afraid to sit on it, and the air‑conditioning/heater unit leaked water and made a horrible grinding screeching sound, which I believe is on its last legs. The worst was the bathroom: after turning on the water and waiting for the temperature to be what I wanted, I pulled on the knob to get the showerhead to work, and the entire faucet thing came off and water gushed out of the pipe; my husband had to hold that thing so I could shower. The best thing about this was the check‑out fella; his eyes widened when I told him about it, and on his own, he deducted 15 % off the room rate.

The pool my girls and I had fun on the slide, but the hotel was ok and clean, though I'm not sure what you call a breakfast; there was a very poor selection for breakfast and I would rather a hotel not say they have a complementary breakfast if they do not plan on serving one. Bread is not a breakfast in my opinion.

Nice and clean pool was great for the kids, but we were beside a pub and the first night was loud.

“It was a nice place to stay”

The reviews were kind of bad and I was worried, but it was 100 % a great place to stay! I was pleasantly surprised and would not hesitate to stay there again. Our room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The only thing I didn't like so much was the parking; I had to park quite far away. Barely anywhere to park, and I did not feel great about how far away I had to park my truck.

The pool was always a hit and the price was good, but a garbage truck was loading a bin at 6 AM outside the door and both rooms had a strong smell.
