The hotel was simple, clean, and the bed and desk were good for laptop work, the AC was effective, the bathroom was okay, and the location was convenient and cheap, giving good value for the price. The walls were thick. Overall, it was a cheap, clean older hotel that was nice but not stylish. The shower water wasn’t very hot, but that’s fine in summer; nearby AC units made a deep noise at night sometimes, and the light was either a very bright LED on the ceiling or nothing at all. That bright, annoying LED lamp on the ceiling that can’t be adjusted is common in many Korean hotels now; a warmer, smaller light would be nice to have as an option in the room.
