The place was perfect for relaxing.
The location is exceptionally beautiful, a small house floating on the river, tastefully furnished. We were greeted very warmly by the hosts and felt very comfortable, though we only stayed there for one night.
“A wonderful experience”
Staying right on the water was a wonderful experience; the surroundings were very peaceful and we heard no noise in the evening. The place is easy to reach by car, and the host’s communication was excellent. If you want more activity, Jūrmala is nearby. We brought our own paddleboards and enjoyed paddling on the Lielupe, which is very calm and almost no current. The sofa bed is quite narrow at 120 cm, and I wouldn’t recommend swimming in the river because of the water quality.
The sauna was great and the surroundings were quiet and beautiful. The cabin is very basic but has everything needed for cooking, plus shampoo, gel, candles, towels, and bathrobes. The host was kind and attentive. It was very bright because there were no window blinds.
