The staff were friendly and welcoming.

“Rilassante”
The location was strategic, both for its proximity to the sea and for visiting the nearby city spots at night.
The real strength of this hotel is its management: the owners are amazing, incredibly welcoming and attentive to every detail. From check‑in they made us feel like guests, not just customers, showing a generosity and kindness of another era. They gave us great tips on what to visit and where to eat locally, always with a smile and genuine passion for their work. The property is well maintained, spotless, and very comfortable, proving the love the owners put into the business every day. If you’re looking for a special stay guided by genuine people, this is the perfect place.
“Rodzinny hotel z wspaniałym basenem.”
The hotel is pretty, clean, and the pool is large. The room stays spotless with daily housekeeping, and the air‑conditioning is efficient. Breakfast reflects typical Southern Italian fare. The owner and his family are great to talk to, offering solid suggestions on where to eat and which nearby beaches are worth visiting. We followed their tips and ended up having a fantastic stay, feeling almost like locals in Calabria. I recommend it because this place is a real gem – family‑run hotels with heart and deep respect for guests are becoming rarer.
We just finished our holiday, a week at Gran Duca, and we were very happy. Antonio and his mother are wonderful people, always available and kind. The hotel is close to the sea, in a very quiet area for those looking for a relaxing family vacation. Greetings from little Nicolas ❤️
The spot is spot-on for getting to Tropea and Pizzo, and a few extra kilometres get you to Capo Vaticano, making it a solid launchpad for exploring the Costa degli Dei. The pool is a delight, kept tidy with crystal‑clear water. The owner is friendly and always on hand to sort any hiccups that pop up. The room itself works, but the furnishings and overall setup could use a touch of updating.
