Ever since Charlie Chaplin’s famous quote about the hotel, that statement has stayed true for every guest, and I can vouch for it. The moment you step through the elegant revolving door you feel like an emperor, unwilling to return to your old world, and a big thanks to Thomas van Opstal for assembling the best front desk team to greet me. I especially want to highlight Rafael Schuster, the young virtuous gentleman, and Chief Concierge Dieter Ludewig, both of whom treated me like royalty 🙌🙏. Going back home was a bittersweet moment 😉

“Absolutely perfect in every way as always.”

This is my favorite hotel across all of Europe where they treat me like a prince and always secure perfect seats for shows such as the opera and the must‑see St. Charles Cathedral Vivaldi concert. I missed seeing the Crown Jewels because they were closed on Tuesday, but the museum across the street, with its Egyptian artifacts, more than compensated for that loss. No complaints at all.

I’ll say everything: from arrival to departure, breakfast, room, hotel transfer service, dinner, location—everything was fine. The only issue was the plastic alarm clock and phone charger; that was the only inconsistency I found compared to the rest of the room.
