The location was great, with spectacular views and well‑kept outdoor areas. A hair dryer was provided. The room was spacious and they left a complimentary bottle of water and fruit. However, the floor was carpeted but you can hear the loose wooden planks underneath; it’s old timber that hasn’t been fixed, so you notice the creaks when you step. The restaurant’s prices were excessively high.

The building and the restaurant staff were good. The front desk staff were arrogant and seemed more inclined to complicate things rather than help, for example when we arrived at 17.30 they mistakenly said that the pool towels were available at the pool, which was only possible the next day. In reality the pool closed at 19h and towels were provided at reception. Bathroom shortages were unacceptable by today’s standards: missing a magnifying mirror and hair cream.

The pool and stunning views made it a good base for many sights. The restaurant was fine one evening and mediocre the next. The staff felt a bit odd and somewhat outdated.

The view was amazing even in the rain. The small terrace on the room looked out over the lake. The staff were kind, especially Emanuel at reception. The pool was beautiful, unless it rains… The restaurant was good. The hotel was a bit old‑fashioned, but the lounge and dining room with lake views were nice.
