“Very good value for money”

Overall we were very happy; the rooms were really good with comfortable beds, a good shower, and were clean. The meals were generally good, offering good beef, chicken and vegetarian options, but the breakfast lacked variety. Around a 15km radius there was plenty of wildlife. We self‑drove; having spent many years in the African bush, I was very used to this. The only issue with self‑driving was that the directions to the camp were a little difficult, and because no signs were allowed for these smaller tented camps we struggled on the first night. All things considered, definitely a 9/10. Compared to other options, The African Kongoni offered very good value for money.

“The perfect safari escape.”

The property is incredible, set in the heart of Serengeti. Everything was exceptional, especially the staff who were all very friendly and super helpful. The food was delicious and they even prepared take‑away meals for our game drives.

I stayed in a beautiful tent surrounded by wildlife and plenty of wood; every detail was carefully planned and the staff were very attentive. The beds and bathrooms were impeccably prepared, and the food was excellent—highly recommend this tent for its top‑level standards.

“Wonderful camp in a setting in the Serengeti. Luxury meets nature!”

The property was gorgeous, with rooms that feature outdoor bathtubs and showers, and the staff and food were outstanding. It was all perfect!
