Located on Ascona's lake-side promenade, 300 metres from the centre, the Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss features historic-style rooms and free internet access. The hotel comprises three buildings surrounding a lush Mediterranean garden with an outdoor heated pool (April to October). The restaurant serves local, international, and Mediterranean cuisine, with outdoor dining on the terrace overlooking Piazza Ascona and Lago Maggiore.

A charming hotel in a perfect spot; the friendly staff made our visit a real pleasure. Thank you. PS I went to see my sister in Brig a few days later and was amazed to learn she met her husband at this hotel about 50 years ago—truly romantic! We liked everything.
