Thank you very much for these moments

The welcome was warm, always attentive and considerate, and the setting is obviously incredible. We would have liked the evening by the fire to last longer.

Nothing to like. This is a bait reservation; the fees have nothing to do with reality, and the camp isn’t where the map shows. You’ll receive a list of fares for transport to the camp that’s unrelated to the booked price.

The camp sits next to the other camps in the middle of the dunes, offering spectacular views and a star‑filled sky at night. It’s run by the same owners as the Ksar Merzouga hotel, where you can go to the pool and also stay. It’s larger, has a dining area, and the rooms are more comfortable than the camp’s, with beautiful facilities and dunes right behind. The 4x4 driver and chef were very friendly, making the night fun and entertaining, and they even baked a cake for my partner’s birthday. The hotel staff, despite not speaking Spanish, were attentive and organized activities: a 4x4 tour with Mohamed, a quad and sandboard ride with another great guy, and a camel ride to the camp. We also recommend visiting the town, grabbing coffee at Sand Rock Café, and dining at places like Matouda Restaurant. The food at both the hotel and camp is overly large and offers little variety; breakfast could use sliced fruit and healthier options. Camp food was a bit burnt, and breakfast consisted of leftovers. The food at both venues needs more variety, better quality, and less quantity. Improving camp maintenance—adding cushions in common areas, on swings, outdoor chairs, and rest spots—and cleaning tablecloths would also help.
