“Soggiorno in relax con tutte le opzioni a disposizione all‘occorenza”
The location is great. The pool area and services could use improvement.
Breakfast was very abundant and diverse, but the place sometimes needs a bit of maintenance.
“PERFECTO!”
It was just perfect! We love Mangia's Resort—the location, room, food, whole area, and the pool, of course! We also really enjoyed the outdoor restaurant next to the pool. We had the best carbonara! There is no good access to the sea from the hotel, but anyone who loves Favignana as much as we do knows that the best beaches are the ones you have to bike to!
“Underwhelming stay overall.”
The staff were friendly, and the pool area and views from the pool area were very good. The location is not ideal if you want to explore Favignana. You can hire bicycles which is fine for the day but not ideal if you want to go for a meal in the centre at night time, taxis are unreliable and €16 per single trip. Generally the hotel felt like it was nice 10 years ago but has since gone unkept and is a bit underwhelming. The room we had had barely any natural light which wasn’t ideal and the shower was mould ridden. The air con came off and on abruptly coming to a sharp halt and then the noise to start back up was like a jet engine so that was ideal for sleeping. The resort was lacking in any sort of atmosphere, considering there was no access to other places there wasn’t anything to do on the resort area on an evening. The only evening meal option was a €40 per person buffet (which we didn’t have so I can’t pass judgement - but given the breakfast quality was low I certainly wasn’t paying €40 euro to find out about dinner)
The pistti calso were actually lukewarm.
