I liked the room size and the fact that it had its own kitchen and a coffee maker, but honestly it was a nightmare. We had no hot water at all, and the owner said that sometimes it happens and that someone would fix it in the afternoon—after we had already checked out. He never came to tell us in person. The worst part was how filthy everything was, both inside and in the courtyard, which was covered in dog poop. When I stepped into the room my feet turned black from the dirt, the towels in the kitchen were dirty, the toilet brush was filthy, and the bins hadn’t been emptied. It was just gross. Check the pictures before you decide to stay.

“Tragic”

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had on this app. They advertised a private bathroom, but it’s actually outside the room and at 5 am there were people using it, yelling when I knocked. The “door” is just a glass window, so you can see inside. The place hasn’t been cleaned in years; spider webs cover the walls and I’m not sure if sheets are changed at all. There were no towels except for a communal one that I refused to use. The toilet was broken, and the host told me we couldn’t open the windows because their dog would jump in and it was dangerous. Check‑in was a disaster: no one answered until I called three times, then they rudely told me to do a self‑check‑in. Mosquitoes swarmed the place, and at 5 am there was light because we weren’t alone.

We arrived at 19:00 and the owner didn’t know if we had slept because he hadn’t given us any instructions and wouldn’t answer the phone in a downpour! After half an hour he finally responded and gave us the password to access the property—very bad.

The room is big with a large bed and a spacious wardrobe, and every room has a microwave for reheating food. There’s a rain shower in the shared bathroom. The room is noisy, with no curtains or blinds to darken it. It’s right next to the Avezzano‑Sulmona‑Pescara train line, and the highway is audible too. There are no fly screens. In the bathroom the toilet paper holder is loose.
