Great location. Good bar. Good ambiance. Good food. Friendly helpful staff. Room a little tired but fine. Quite noisy - not from outside but thin walls between rooms? No coat hangers. Plug in basin did not hold water

Staff were polite and courteous, accommodation was clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, the lounge and bar areas very comfortable. Nothing, there was nothing to dislike

It was comfortable and ideal for a 3 day relaxing stay. Very pleasant dining room and good sized bedroom. NB Exceptionally pleasant and efficient staff. Small details that need attention: 1. Very slow draining hand basin in bedroom (no.10 Thunderer) 2. Bedroom lighting very restricted, particularly bed lights for reading

We had a very good experience with the friendly, helpful staff. Our food was very good and our room was comfortable. I killed 7 spiders the one night we stayed there & saw 2 more above the tub the next morning
