The room sleeps four guests with extra‑long beds over two metres and an optional extra bed, and includes a seating area, desk, clothes rack, linen, mosquito net, tile/marble flooring, and single‑room air conditioning. The en‑suite bathroom features a bath or shower, toilet, towels, flat‑screen TV, air conditioning, mosquito net, and hypoallergenic furnishings, and the room offers free Wi‑Fi and a fan.

The location is great, but the building feels very old, smells bad, and breakfast is cheap.
“Severe Ant Infestation & No Hot Water – Forced to Walk Out at Night”
We had a horrific experience at Royal Galápagos Inn and were forced to check out at night because of severe hygiene and sanitary issues. The first room assigned to us was dirty and uncleaned, so the staff moved us to another room. When we returned in the evening, the new room was completely infested with ants—covering the furniture, table, floor, and bed—and my wife was bitten several times while sitting on the bed. The shower had no hot water; when we told the front desk, the staff member checked, falsely claimed it was fixed, smiled, and told us to “play with the faucet” before leaving without solving the problem. Because of these uninhabitable conditions, we packed our bags around 20:00, informed reception, declined a third room offer, and walked out to find alternative accommodation. The property refused to refund our payment for a service they failed to provide. Avoid this hotel at all costs! It was a health hazard and the service was unacceptable.

The reality is very different from the photos: no hot water, poor cleaning, mediocre breakfast. At night the hotel entrance is closed, but luckily they gave us a key for that door. It was disappointing in every sense, mediocre, and I do not recommend it.

The location is superb and the owner is friendly; everything went well and they helped us with every request.

The view from the top balcony was really nice and the breakfast was also good; the rooms were spacious. However, the rooms were pretty dirty, we did not get clean linens every day, bugs appeared in one of the bathrooms and got into some luggage, and the property is under construction so the pictures don’t match reality.
