“Excellent day and great location”

The location was great, and breakfast was delicious! The view was good, but the shower was handheld because it wasn’t fixed in the holder.

“Disappointing for our 4 night stay. May be ideal for one night.”

Breakfast was very good, and the staff went out of their way to serve and please. The location was good, the room was a decent size, and the car park is behind the hotel. The bath and shower were roomy. The staff helped replace bottled water, teabags, and other room supplies. However, I had to walk through the bar to check in. There is no lift, and the steep stairs up to the room were a hassle with no assistance for cases. There’s no luggage rack to put cases, and the bed base was wooden slats even though the mattress was thick. The en suite only had one small shelf above the toilet for toiletries. The staff couldn’t fix the lack of heating in our cold room on the first night, but it was resolved the next day.

“Lovely stay in Lincoln Bailgate - fabulous location”

The location was great, but the meals left me wanting more; nevertheless, the staff were lovely and handled our complaints promptly, even reimbursing us for the food we didn’t enjoy.

“We could not have been better served”

I found the spot ideal for parking and strolling around Lincoln, and the staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast and evening meals were tasty and offered good value, while the room was cozy and well-equipped. I’ll be back to the Duke when I return to Lincoln.
