Siambeach Resort

“Great location by the beach for nice relaxing holiday. Villas beautiful.”

The resort is excellent and right by the beach; the two‑bedroom villa was very comfortable, the pool offered sea views, and the gardens were well kept. We relaxed a lot and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was great, except the restaurant closed a little early—expected since we were there in the off‑season.

“Mixed experience: good location, but serious health and hygiene concerns.”

We enjoyed the room service and the staff’s general hospitality; the hotel is clean, beachfront, and remarkably quiet, with dining prices moderate—reasonable without being cheap. We stayed for my mother’s birthday and pre‑ordered three cake slices—chocolate macadamia, carrot, and tiramisu—on July 21, eating only at the hotel that day; the tiramisu tasted strange, so we didn’t finish it. Later my mother had severe stomach pain and fainted, and I felt unwell all day; I told the hotel, but they said the restaurant assured them the cakes were fresh. Other issues included a bathroom that smelled of urine, a blocked toilet cistern, and blankets that were too thin.

“Comfortable”

The location was good, but breakfast starts at 7:30, and we had to leave before that time because we were in transit; we paid for breakfast in our booking but didn’t realize it was that late, so we couldn’t have breakfast.
