Only the location was good; a room smelled of gecko droppings that were actually present, the breakfast coffee was bad, and my wife found the staff unfriendly.

The resort is 50 m from the Red Lotus Lake launch; a tip is to leave at 6 a.m. before the crowds, and bikes are available to borrow. The first bungalow had broken AC and was filthy—shoes and suitcases were still closed, but the second bungalow (no. 5) was better, though the hallway stayed noisy all night with machines running, so we had to change rooms again. The final bungalow was fine, but we used three rooms for two nights and the beds were very hard.

The location is right next to the Red Lotus Lake launch, but the bathroom is awkward because the shower opens onto the toilet.

The spot is just five minutes from the lake dock, but the room had a nasty rotting smell and the staff weren't friendly at all.
