The place was filthy, with a lot of dirt on the walls, it felt very worn out, the balcony and windows were covered in bird droppings, a lot of grime leaked from the lower part of the bed, the sheets were polyester and uncomfortable, the entire place was a mess with incompetent staff, the aggressive manager used the room while I was away, smoking was allowed in the room, trash was left in the morning, and at night the Muslim prayer was heard loudly from the speakers – absolutely terrible.

While I was away the room was sublet, I had no access, that was rude, I was charged twice, the manager was aggressive, the staff were incompetent, the surroundings were dilapidated, it was a real mess, and at dawn and evening the Muslim prayer rang out from the speakers.

The location was good, away from noisy streets but close to the beach, restaurants and within walking distance of town. The room matched the pictures, was clean, spacious and had good air‑conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful with our concerns. The property faced a mosque, which wasn’t a problem, but the calls to prayer were very loud and woke us up at 4‑5 am on the first night. When we asked for a quieter room, the staff understood and moved us to a front‑of‑property room without hesitation, and we slept much better the four nights we stayed.
