The room was good, but the distance from the city center and from the room to the restaurant and pool made it hard to get around when it rained, and the game room was poorly maintained.

The staff were very friendly, the place was spotless, breakfast was excellent, security was solid, and all facilities were great. The hotel itself was perfect, nothing to complain about. Even though there is a shuttle, the 20‑minute walk to Vila feels endless because the path is bad. Perhaps a bit more investment could improve the road—maybe gravel or something—though I know the surroundings don’t allow paving.

I loved the beach right in front of the hotel. I caught the low tide in the mornings, the water was warm and calm, and the natural pools across from the hotel were amazing. The hotel breakfast was delicious, with a variety of tasty items like the regional “pão delícia,” cheese bread, freshly made tapioca, orange juice, and other local fruit juices. Every day the buffet changed—one day it was empadinha, another day quiche, and the cakes were wonderful. The room was very clean and the fragrant Natura toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body cream) were a nice touch. The internet was sometimes weak, but that’s an issue throughout Morro de São Paulo, not just the hotel, and it didn’t affect my trip since I wasn’t working.

The leisure area and beach were wonderful! Things are getting old and lack maintenance. I arrived at 18:00 and my room had to be changed because it wasn’t ready, so I had to wait for another bed. The linens and bath towels were quite old. The air‑conditioner broke on the first night. It feels like the place needs more modernization—there’s room for improvement, especially for the price paid! The little shop wasn’t open on the holiday, which is a detail that matters. The wardrobes in the old rooms were also an issue. The outdoor kids’ area, however, is fantastic.
