“I liked it very much!”
The shower had hot water, the room was spacious, the hostesses were kind, the location was excellent, the pillows were good, and there was a spot to hang wet clothes after diving. I liked the bedside table with easy plugs for my phone, GoPro, etc. There’s coffee-making gear in the room, though I didn’t use it, but it’s nice they have it. They handed out two small water bottles upon arrival—very good! The air‑con worked fine. Overall, I liked it a lot. I didn’t spot any insects in the room, which is hard to do in a tropical country. Fantastic! Simple things like a functioning shower drain that never floods, a toilet with a bidet, and a reliable flush also added to the experience. The only downside was a slight bad smell from the sink, but the bathroom extractor and deodorizing items kept it from bothering me.
“Stinky and noisy, but great staff”
The staff were sensational—friendly and helpful, the highlight of the stay. The room, however, had a persistent sewer smell that the owners should address, even though there were air fresheners everywhere, they didn’t mask the odor. The inner bathroom and toilet doors had no handles or latches, and the bathroom light never turned off. The curtains barely blocked street light, and traffic noise was loud most nights. Also, a nearby mosque woke me at 4:30 am every morning with its loud music.

I stayed here twice—exactly because I liked it so much. The owner, her daughter who manages the place, and all the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay, which is why I returned. The location was perfect, they arranged airport transport, and they offered solid advice on places to visit and things to do. I’d definitely stay here again. Thanks for the great memories.
The location was fine. The room smelled bad, the door didn’t lock properly, and the bathrooms were rundown and dirty.
