The townhouse had a lot of charm and character, and it was a multi‑storey building. Room #1, which came with an en‑suite, was spotless and roomy, and the king‑size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean, featuring a separate bath and a large shower cubicle. Owner John was extremely welcoming and handled every request with ease. Breakfast choices were excellent, especially the freshly cooked options prepared by John himself, which kept me energized all day. The property is within walking distance of a couple of decent pubs that serve local beers and simple pub grub, and John offered recommendations for nicer dining spots a short drive away—something worth trying if you want a better evening meal than basic pub fare. I arrived by motorcycle, and the property offered a very secure, enclosed car park that was perfect for us motorcyclists, a feature that really justified the price by eliminating parking stress.
