The place was modern, in a great spot, and the rooms were tidy. The air‑conditioning in my suite was broken, but they offered a fan instead; it still took an hour to cool the room, after which everything was fine. The area was quiet and the facilities were adequate.

Location from the station and zoo was good for us. Late check in. No one around

It was close to where I needed to be the next day. The photos showed a sleek pub with accommodation above, but the real pub looked worn, the rooms were extremely tired, and the area sits right in the middle of a council estate.

I liked the room and the layout – it was clean, tidy, and easy to reach. It wasn’t noisy and getting there from Wembley was simple, with plenty of cafés nearby. On the top floor, without a lift, the window didn’t close properly. Even with a fan, it would get cold in winter if the issue isn’t fixed, but I’d stay again.

Everything was acceptable, though the place felt a bit run‑down and could use some TLC. The bed was very comfortable, but the room was warm; fans were provided, yet a working air‑con would have been better. The smell from the pub toilets lingered up the stairs. The carpet and furniture were heavily stained and clearly need updating and cleaning. It did the job for me, and the pub below was quite pleasant.
