“geweldig”
The location was fantastic, the price‑quality ratio was excellent, and the snowshoes were especially great for exploring places you otherwise couldn’t reach; the light from the fish processing on the other side means you have to move a few hundred meters to see the best northern lights.
“Amazing location by the sea”
The location is amazing and perfect for hiking, and we felt really welcome; the host was super friendly.
“So so lovely”
The host was absolutely lovely – Hilde greeted us warmly right after we disembarked the ferry, drove us to the cabin, and helped us settle in while spotting some reindeer on the way. She kindly lent us a pair of snow shoes and sticks each and pointed us toward the best spot for a midday walk. The next day she took us to the local shop and a wonderful sauna, then let us know she’d be heading into Tromsø the following morning, offering to drive us along so we could see the reindeer before leaving and even sent a link to a magical experience. The cabin’s location was perfect, letting us witness the auroras on our final night; the neighbors shared tips on the best viewing spots and Hilde captured a lovely photo of us with the auroras behind us. The cabin itself was very comfortable, fully equipped for cooking the food we bought at the local supermarket. Honestly, a charming cabin with probably the warmest host I’ve ever met – highly recommend and would love to return. The only downside was that our flight landed at 7 pm, so we couldn’t reach the cabin that first night because the ferry to the island ends early on Saturdays; this was a clearer communication issue on their side, but Hilde’s advice on how to get to the cabin the next day was very helpful.
“Flott sted!”
The location was good with nice facilities, but it wasn’t noisy and there was only one hand towel.
The location is good.
