The room was absolutely gorgeous – tastefully decorated and really comfortable. What threw us off, though, was being told that even our four‑year‑old needed a piece of ID to stay, and the receptionist was rather unfriendly about it.

We liked the comfy beds, the hot shower, and the fact that the hotel sits right in the city centre. The on‑site restaurant could use some work, though, and there was no wardrobe in the room to hang our clothes.

The atmosphere was pleasant and the night was quiet, plus the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The only downside was the lack of a proper fridge – the only cooling unit was a noisy wine cooler, which would have been handy.

Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and despite being in the city centre the area felt surprisingly calm. We liked the place so much we came back for lunch after checking out, and the rooms were clean and cozy.

The pension’s central location is convenient, but the room felt cramped without a kettle or air‑conditioning. The roof windows let in rain unless you keep them shut, which makes the room stuffy in summer, and there’s no wardrobe for storage either.
