Overall a bit worn out. The rooms were fine. The outdoor areas were not entirely intact or well maintained.

The location is great, especially as a starting point for things in Erfurt. The minimalist staff put in a lot of effort and make the most of the limited resources. The outdoor area looks unkempt, even though it must have once been beautiful; it needs a lot of work. There is potential. The safety equipment, such as the smoke detector in the room, is non‑functional—no battery, just lying on the table—making the security situation concerning.

The location is quiet and close to Erfurt. The room’s furnishings feel like the good old 90s. A folding panel attached to the window had torn from its anchor, so the door had to stay closed; the window could be opened, but the door was still in the way. The bathroom fixtures were unclean: the tap aerator in the bathroom was heavily calcified, causing water to spill uncontrollably; the shower head was unusable because it had no mounting, so it was wrapped around the mixing valve; the toilet was not cleaned from the outside, still showing traces of previous guests. On the bright side, there was a kettle with coffee on the room, but no cup was provided.
