The location was great for a walking break exploring the Yorkshire Dales, the room was comfortable and well‑decorated, the evening meal and breakfast were excellent, and the atmosphere was friendly with welcoming staff.

The room was nice enough, but the food prices were over the top – £22 for a smallish burger and a few chips is ridiculous.
