The grounds, rooms, pools and hot tub were all fantastic. If you’re not a Premier Member, getting a dinner reservation or a poolside chair can be tough when the resort is busy.

The rooms and facilities are spread out. The beach area needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

The atmosphere and staff made us feel at home, and leaving this hotel was painful. The coffee, even the capsule coffee in the room, was far from European taste; that’s the only thing I would change.

The food and staff service were excellent. It’s far from a luxury hotel—what you pay for is the experience, and the rooms are nowhere near five‑star quality. The pictures are very misleading, the beach no longer exists, and arriving two hours before check‑in won’t get you an early check‑in even if rooms are available; you’ll be asked to give an hour of your free day to listen to offers and plans.

The service was very good and respectful. There was a slightly odd smell from the beach, and the love chair was missing from my room; it would be nice to have that in every room.
