“Enttäuschender Umgang mit Gästen trotz schriftlicher Parkplatzreservierung”

We booked a one‑night stay in September and had already reserved a parking spot by email in March, which the hotel confirmed in writing. When we arrived, all four hotel‑owned parking spaces were occupied and staff claimed no reservation existed. Despite showing the written confirmation, the error was not acknowledged; instead we were told to park elsewhere, which was unacceptable given our luggage and the distance to the hotel. The suggested spot was right beside the footpath to the train station and directly in front of a park bench. With luggage for a two‑week trip, that was not a viable solution. No apology or reasonable compensation was offered, and we were even accused of arriving a day late, which was false. Unable to resolve the issue, we cancelled and did not stay. We cannot comment on rooms or breakfast, but the handling of our confirmed parking reservation and onsite communication was extremely disappointing; we expected a professional response to a hotel mistake, a fair review, and a proper solution.

Good breakfast—everything I needed was available.

The location is fantastic, right on the Kurpark. We stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the Kurpark, which was very nice. The hotel also has a lovely breakfast room, but unfortunately the café that was also available was closed.
