The views were beautiful and the hotel was right next to a wetlands park, a gorgeous spot. They serve a nice buffet for breakfast and dinner, though it comes at a price. The property didn’t have a jacuzzi.

Everything was great. Breakfast offered a rich selection, Saturday was busy but everything worked smoothly. The river view was good, a small park nearby was well lit at night, the gym was okay, and there was no wait for the elevators. On Thursday dinner was not popular, but we were alone there and the food and drinks were very good. The old‑town was not within walking distance.

The breakfast was abundant, though it got busier during the holiday, but it was unfortunate that the front‑desk staff didn’t tell us that our room was specially prepared for guests with disabilities when we checked in.

Staying there felt comfortable, the meals were tasty and the pool was enjoyable. The spot is a little out of the way (nothing we could change), and it would have been great if a washer had been available; Japanese hotels usually provide both washing and drying machines, which is handy in hot Guangdong after a day of sightseeing when the whole family is drenched. Unfortunately, there’s no Hilton Hampton in Zhaoqing to meet that need.
