“Top”
We loved the spot where our apartment sat, right between the harbor and the town in a charming little street. The place was pretty noisy, though; the old building didn’t block sound well and a restaurant behind us kept music and live singing blasting in, and the room turned out smaller than we expected, which wasn’t a huge disappointment since we only stayed one night.
“Just what we needed”
I liked the spot and how spotless everything was, but the place could use better accessibility for disabled folks, even though I didn’t need it.
It was centrally located, yet the two rows of very steep stairs felt like climbing three floors, the room was tiny and uncomfortable, and we only received the door codes after 2 p.m. on the day we arrived, which caused a lot of stress; at night we could hear voices from a tavern downstairs and nearby construction sites, giving the street a shabby look and, despite being central, I didn’t feel safe.
