I was thrilled with the hotel; the triple rooms are spacious, service is top‑class, breakfast is tasty, and the location was spot‑on for our needs. The area offers several restaurants, and the proximity to the Royal School was exactly what we were looking for. The only downside was that the elevator is just the right size.

Everything was great: the location, the room, the staff were very attentive and super friendly, and the breakfast started at 07:00; since I had to leave early they offered take‑away, all very good. The only issue was the mattress – it wasn’t very firm, felt a bit off, and tilted slightly to one side, but otherwise it was a 10.

The room and bathroom are large with big windows, and it sits on a lovely avenue that walks you straight into the city centre. The breakfast staff were attentive and pleasant, especially Jaime. The breakfast was very full and good, served in a room with large windows.

The staff were attentive, understanding and helpful; my wife was unwell on arrival and the manager, reception and staff did everything they could – they were fantastic, a credit to the hotel and to them as people. We were upgraded, thoroughly looked after and spoiled.

The location was good and the breakfast buffet was nice. However, because you weren’t fluent in Spanish, there were several problems as the staff only spoke Spanish. The restaurant staff were stressed (only one waiter did his best), so at one point a guest in the group was left without food. The garage, priced at 22 euros per day, was overbooked so there were more cars than spaces. It was so bad that we had to do a lot of trickery to finally get in and back up the garage slope – not “fun”.
