The pool area is pleasant and works well for kids, though adults might find it a bit plain. The gym is tiny and the air‑conditioning in our room didn’t kick in, while the tiny rocky beach wasn’t great for little ones. We liked the decent on‑site restaurant and the courts (tennis, pickleball, basketball) were in good shape, but the Wi‑Fi in the room was spotty, though it held up in the lobby.

Our room was spotless, comfortable and had all the gear we could want, and the location put us close to plenty of activities. The downside was the rest of the property – the restaurant and bar especially – look tired and could use a refresh.

The lake‑side setting was lovely and the suite we stayed in was spacious, comfy and well stocked with everything we needed. The pool and the water‑sport gear were a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar service felt clumsy and slow, and the bar shut its doors around 10 pm, which was disappointing.

We stayed in a roomy suite with a beautiful balcony, which was a real plus. About two hours into our stay the power went out, and staff didn’t really let anyone know what was happening. Even after electricity returned around 5:30 pm, the bar and restaurant stayed closed and no limited menu was offered, so we ended up driving while feeling ill to find somewhere to eat.

The resort itself was pleasant and the amenities were solid, but the check‑in time of 5 pm and checkout at 10 am felt unusually restrictive for the price we paid. After shelling out over $400 for a single night, we were woken at 7:45 am by staff tearing down massive wedding tents, complete with banging and crashing that lasted an hour. That early, noisy wake‑up completely spoiled our family’s plans.
