The spot sits right in the middle of the village, which was super convenient for our trip, and chatting with the host was a breeze. The room was spacious, bright, and had everything you could need, making the price‑to‑quality ratio at Au coeur de Montmedy unbeatable. On the ground floor, the pizzeria Le Lagon was a real treat—friendly staff, great food, and reasonable prices. Montmedy itself boasts a lovely Citadel and a stunning view just across the border. The only downside was that the quiet street leads straight to a busy road, so when we arrived at night in the dark we didn’t realize how close we were to traffic; the noise was noticeable and I would have kept the windows shut if I had known.

The apartment was fantastic—modern, cozy, and everything worked well. The only issue was the loud traffic in front of the building, but otherwise it was excellent.
