A very pleasant stay in a clean, large, quiet room that’s easy to reach by public transport; the old town and Volkswagenhalle are under ten minutes on foot. The price‑value ratio was top; opening the outside and room doors with a phone was a bit odd but worked well. Highly recommend for a concert at the Volkswagenhalle or exploring the old town.

The historic building that houses the hotel is impressive, but the sparse breakfast with awful coffee, the bad Wi‑Fi in the room, and the unavailability of drinks on the restaurant’s rest days were disappointing.

The breakfast was very good and plentiful, the location, beds, and the hotel overall were great, but everything was only accessible via smartphone; when the phone battery dies you can’t get into your room or the side entrance because everything is opened with the phone – I understand the digital approach, but it’s definitely too much; a better system would be like the Regio Hotels in Sachsen Anhalt.

We felt very comfortable at the hotel. On the evening of arrival we ate excellently at the attached restaurant. The staff were super kind and friendly, and the dishes were explained in detail. Later the chef came to our table and asked if we liked it. The rooms are very tasteful, breakfast was absolutely sufficient, and the nearby parking lot was very convenient.

The hotel was clean overall, well‑located, and the rooms matched the photos, but the entirely digital self‑check‑in felt too impersonal to me, and the room was right next to a main road where loud cars and drunk pedestrians really disturbed the night.
