The staff and host were extremely friendly and helpful, and the place was spotless. It’s only about a ten‑minute walk from the station!

The owners are amazing—present, kind, always available, and very caring for everyone. They even brought us homemade banana bread that was incredible! The place is always spotless, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the common areas are cozy and really comfortable. It’s definitely one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at, and I’d love to come back to Costa Rica just to visit again 🥰. Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect.

The host was nice and pleasant. The location is scary, the neighborhood is bad, and the night atmosphere is unpleasant. There were homeless people staying there, among other issues. Money was stolen from us, and it turns out this happens weekly. The place is very low‑quality overall. Ants bit the sofas, and overall the experience was awful. We left a day earlier than planned because money was stolen and the whole experience was terrible. The host kindly refunded us for the night we didn’t stay. I definitely do not recommend this place. There are many other places at the same price where you can actually feel comfortable and safe. Do not stay here.

The place was huge and clean, exactly what I expected. It's right by the bus stop to Manuel Antonio, so getting around was a breeze. I wish they had a proper breakfast – the bananas, biscuits and coffee were nice, but a loaf of bread and some eggs would have made it better. Also, Quepos gets hot, so having AC all the time would really help.
