I give it 3 stars only because the lady was polite, but overall the experience wasn’t good. From the start, when we arrived the owner didn’t give us the gate key, telling us that since she lives in the B&B and is usually at home, we could just call or message her whenever we needed to enter. That’s never happened to me and I find it inconvenient, especially for a place where guests should have some independence. I asked if I’d have to call her if I returned maybe at 3 or 4 am, and she said yes. That night, around midnight, I sent her a message before arriving but got no reply. When I was at the gate, I called her and she said she was coming back and I should wait about 5 minutes, also claiming I’d told her a different return time, which didn’t match what I actually said. She then called back saying she’d informed her husband and that I’d find the key near the gate, but the key wasn’t there; she just told me to push the gate because it would open. Once on the B&B floor, I heard the husband, apparently woken by the situation, swearing. When he opened the door, not expecting me to already be outside, he looked mortified and handed me the room keys. He was kind to me, but it was only the room key. The room seemed clean at first glance, but when I unfolded the sheets I found hair on the bed, which really left a bad impression.
