10/10 — An Absolutely Amazing Stay! My stay at the Royal Hotel in Sydney was exceptional from start to finish—a true 10 out of 10! I was warmly welcomed by Carmen and her hospitality was outstanding. She was wonderfully cooperative, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly during my stay. Here are a few highlights: Cleanliness: Flawless. The entire hotel was immaculate and kept to the highest standard. Location: Fantastic location, making it extremely easy to get around and explore. Interior Design: Absolutely stunning! The interior design and aesthetic added such an amazing touch to the overall ambiance. I highly recommend the Royal Hotel to anyone visiting Sydney, and a special thanks to Carmen for making it such a wonderful experience!

I loved the old charm and antiques in this hotel. Our bed was very comfortable and coffee and tea available all night. Everything was definitely well thought out.

The hotel was lovely with beautiful period furniture and decor. A very peaceful atmosphere. The host was so friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfortable, I had the best nights sleep of my entire trip. It’s in a great location. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We loved our stay. Nothing

I stayed at a beautifully preserved building from 1785, updated with modern touches like nice showers, and it’s right by the water and good restaurants—definitely a lovely spot in Sydney. The reception felt a bit austere; they told us plainly to remove shoes at the entrance, watch where we place luggage, walk softly, and open doors slowly, which made the environment feel strict and not very zen, leaving me tense. I even got nervous going to the bathroom at night because the floor creaked. Breakfast was a simple lunchbox style—apple, yogurt, muffin—and it wasn’t available at 7:00 as scheduled. There’s no on‑site parking, but on Sundays you can park in the adjacent commercial lot.
