The family who welcomed us was exceptionally kind and did their best with very few resources to meet our needs; the food was delicious and everyone adapted to our wishes or necessities. We had wonderful moments thanks to them and would gladly return if we could. However, if you’re looking for a fully comfortable, cosy establishment, look elsewhere—this is a homestay in the middle of nature with the bare minimum. That was enough for us. We’re used to off‑the‑beaten‑path trips, yet even for us it was a bit tight. The comfort was rather rudimentary… If you want a fully comfortable, cosy place, skip it. “Estancia increíble :)”

Ariel treated us exceptionally, showing us the town the first day, organising all the tours in one go, and every evening sitting down to dinner with us, sharing country and area trivia. Nubia cooked delicious meals; everything was superb—each day better than the last! We haven’t eaten better on the whole trip! It’s a very peaceful place with lots of calm; you can see the sea in the background, hear the waves and the birds. It’s far from Nuqui, you need to take a boat, though it only takes about 15 minutes, but it’s good to know. It’s next to Pangui.

Está ubicado en Nuquí, justo donde el río y el mar se encuentran, en medio de una naturaleza exuberante que invita a desconectar por completo del mundo exterior y reconectar con uno mismo. Los atardeceres entre las palmeras, el sonido del océano y la selva alrededor crean una paz que pocas veces se encuentra. La comida es espectacular, fresca y llena de sabor. Pero lo que realmente hace que este lugar sea inolvidable es Ariel, el mejor anfitrión que se pueda pedir. Se encargó de todo: nos organizó, nos llevó y nos trajo de los mejores tours (incluido un avistamiento de ballenas increíble), y siempre estuvo pendiente de nuestro bienestar, cuidándonos a mí y a mi hija en cada momento como si fuéramos parte de su familia. Me fui con ganas de regresar apenas puse un pie fuera. 100% recomendado para quien busque un refugio auténtico, tranquilo y lleno de calidez humana. ¡Volveremos, Ariel! This place is pure magic. Located in Nuquí, right where the river meets the sea, surrounded by lush nature that invites you to fully disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself. Sunsets through the palm trees, the sound of the ocean, and the jungle all around create a kind of peace you rarely find. The food is spectacular, fresh and full of flavor. But what truly makes this place unforgettable is Ariel, the best host you could ask for. He took care of everything — organizing, driving us to and from the best tours (including an incredible whale watching experience), and always looking out for our wellbeing, taking care of me and my daughter every step of the way as if we were part of his family. “Super autentic!”

The food was excellent. The room was very basic but had all the necessary conditions. We were cleaned every day, which impressed us, and the staff were extremely friendly. Ariel organised all the tours for us and helped with contacts, information, and answers to any question or request. For us, it was by far the most wonderful place we’ve stayed. The whale‑watching excursion was the cherry on top! And then the very calm evenings when we walked along the beach or sat on the river talking with the village kids before the delicious dinner. A place that stayed in our hearts. We didn’t have water at our room and there was none for sale at the restaurant that evening when we arrived. The accommodation is about a 20‑minute walk on the beach from the village of Panqui, and because it was late we couldn’t go get it. Guests should be informed to buy water in Nuqui before being picked up by boat. But that’s a detail that, if you find out in time, won’t disturb your vacation. The food is excellent at the accommodation!

The spot is perfect if you want total peace; the accommodation was solid value for money and the food there was great. We had a blast with the dogs that followed us whenever we went out for a walk. We would have liked to know the cost of meals and dinners beforehand. The beach is pretty, but keep in mind it's a wave‑y beach with some rocks. The tours are pricey, but I guess that's the standard rate.
