“Would be nice if other guests could were told to keep it down late at night but overall good stay.”

The place was handy and tidy, but the tap water was cold, and there was a lot of nighttime noise inside, plus the alarm system was beeping loudly.

Everything was spotless and the hosts were friendly, yet I was disappointed that there was no kitchenette for cooking or washing dishes, which makes sense if it’s meant for overnight or short stays.

I loved how close it was to Rosebank, Woodmead, and Norwood, and the room was huge with a gas fireplace that kept us warm during a cold, rainy weekend; the staff were very accommodating when we checked in late on day one, and we’ll definitely return. Parking can be tricky, especially with many guests, and our room lacked a bedroom window—only the bathroom had one—so we had to leave the door open for air; the bathroom door needed fixing because it only closed when locked, and the shower had no door, so water dripped onto the floor unless a towel was placed; these are minor issues that can be fixed, but overall it was a beautiful stay.

The bed was comfortable, the cleaning was excellent, and the reception girls were very friendly.

Mary welcomed us with a warm smile, the cleanliness was good, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean; however, you can’t walk away from it, you need a car.
