Hotel Nizza

“Posizione ottima, ma purtroppo non torneremo.”

La posizione. Struttura molto vecchia, la nostra stanza (seppur basic) era buia e abbiamo avuto entrambe (io e la mia amica) problemi di asma a causa della polvere (tende e tappeti)

“Hotel Nizza”

When I think of staying in Italy, Hotel Nizza is what comes to mind. It's absolutely perfect. It's older Italy that has been updated but kept the charm of earlier times. Room was very comfortable and we had a window that overlooked the street below (we were on the 3rd floor) that you could open and take in all the sounds and aromas of the area. They do offer breakfast in the morning. There was a great restaurant right next door along with many more to choose from as this is located in the older section of Florence on a more quiter side street. Pretty close proximity to the the Duomo and other points of interest. We walked over to Pitti Palace within a 1/2 hour and got to see so many lovely neighborhoods along the way. It's about a 7 min walk from the train station, Firenze Santa Maria Novella, (Firenze SMN). Keep in mind, the roads are cobblestone but pretty easy to walk on. Can't think of a thing, other than for some that find stairs challenging, while there is a lift for your luggage, there are a few steps to enter the lobby and then more steps to take you to your room. This is older Florence and is not uncommon. Just a heads up for those who do better with lifts

Great location, wonderful and helpful staff. Air conditioning!. Rooms are very basic and small. But otherwise comfortable
