“Ondermaats, onaangenaam, geen comfort noch accomodatie.”

The room was incredibly tiny, with a minuscule table that barely fit a few items. There was no space to unfold a suitcase, and the wardrobe was so small it held only a handful of clothes and a few hangers. No fridge was available, and the only piece of furniture was a wobbly plastic chair for putting clothes on. Three light fixtures were poorly positioned, emitting cold, uncomfortable LED bulbs. The bathroom was very old, with a tiny shower that barely allowed a turn. The floor covering was outdated, the trim edges were poorly maintained, and there were faint mold spores.

The hotel’s location is quite strategic, making it easy to explore Florence and reach nearby attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable enough for my stay. Overall, the location and cleanliness were good, and the room itself was roomy. However, the lack of an elevator and the hallway’s condition could be improved to make the stay more comfortable. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have an elevator, so guests must climb stairs to reach the second floor, which may be inconvenient with heavy luggage. I stayed in Room 14, and several laundry/linen bags were placed right in front of the room, which looked unpleasant. The hallway lighting was slow to turn on when passing through the corridor, which was a bit inconvenient, especially at night.

Getting in was easy, but there was no elevator, and attempts to open the door were frustrating; the noise made it impossible to sleep.
