Hotel via City Leipzig Mitte is a family-run hotel located 800 metres south of Leipzig's city centre. Housed in a 1900 historic building on Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse, it offers modern rooms with flat-screen TV, WiFi, work desk, and en suite bathroom. The hotel is close to public transport, Leipziger Messe exhibition grounds, and Clara-Zetkin park, with a vibrant business, restaurant, art, and entertainment district nearby.

The hotel is centrally located on the “Karli.” Restaurants and pubs are right next door, and there’s also a restaurant inside the hotel. A tram stop is about 100 m away, from which you can reach the city centre. The rooms are modern and have all the essentials; a TV or small fridge is also available. Breakfast can be added for an extra fee, but I didn’t try it. The building is old, so there’s no elevator—good to know if you can’t or don’t want to climb stairs. In the rooms, you should bring earplugs for the night; the windows are sound‑insulated, yet the tram is still quite audible.

The location was great.

The room was large and the central location was convenient, but there was no peace for those sensitive to noise; the tram on the street was audible, and the hotel neighbors on the floor above in the old building added to the disturbance.
