“An American in Amalfi”
The room was very nice. My only complaint was the pillow was so hard that I had to sleep on the throw pillow. Cotton pads and Q‑tips were a nice added touch. The view from this place was incredible! Breakfast was good and plentiful. We ordered one sweet and one savory and shared. In the morning when we were leaving, our suitcases were carried down and we were provided with umbrellas. A cool side note; there was a donkey going up the walk once when we were coming out. We don't see that at home. As everyone mentions, there are stairs, stairs and more stairs. I felt sorry for the man who carried our two suitcases up on his back! We are 65 and 72. We thought we were in decent condition, but woof! You think out your trip into Amalfi before heading out.
