“Ça dépanne pour une nuit…”

This little 2‑star Paris hotel managed to provide a place to sleep for a solo traveller. It was clean, which mattered, and it’s only a few steps from metro lines 1 and 14. The room was tiny with a very small bed, so don’t expect to spend much time there outside of sleeping. The breakfast room was similar – better to avoid crowds for a very basic, low‑quality breakfast that is still complete (10 €). Paying 200 € with breakfast (taxes included) is still excessive for a hotel of this level, which should cost no more than 120 €. But it’s Paris.

The reception service and location were good. The room was very small and extremely noisy; even with the window closed, street noise was loud. There was also a slight mildew smell and dampness.

The location is fine. The room was small, the bathroom layout awkward, the bathtub was poor, and it didn’t feel worth the money.

The location is great, within a 10–20 minute walk to many Paris sights, and the area is safe. The front‑desk staff were cheerful and helpful. The unit bathroom lacks ventilation, so the smell tends to linger.

“Good location for one night”

The location and price are reasonable for the city centre. The staff were very polite, the 24‑hour reception made check‑in easy, and the opening window let in fresh air. Overall it was fine for a couple of days. The rooms were tiny and I was really tired, so we switched to another hotel 500 m away that was cheaper in the same category and much nicer. Still, I was satisfied with the stay – it is what it is.
