The resort is beautifully located, the pool is large and comfortable, and the garden offers endless relaxation; the rooms are spacious, well equipped, and the décor is unique—though that’s up to each guest’s taste. Getting to the hotel isn’t difficult (the address accepted by the Grab app is right next to it). It’s a good base for nearby attractions like waterfalls and temples, as well as for exploring Lovina itself. Breakfast could use fruit and a slightly larger selection.

The villa option met all the advertised features: it was truly peaceful, and I could eat anytime either alone or in the shared area. The pool was very clean and well maintained, just like the rest of the villa complex. Communicating with the hotel beforehand and with the on‑site staff via WhatsApp was smooth and quick. They accommodated requests such as take‑away breakfast for the airport and small needs like an apple‑cutting knife. Arya stood out for his excellent English, solving any communication hiccups beyond WhatsApp instantly, and for his thoroughness and foresight when we discussed our travel plans; he also supplied useful local tips. Breakfast choices—Mi Goreng, Nasi Goreng, and American with various egg options—were typical for the area and very well prepared, with no Bali belly or similar issues. Occasionally water was refilled. Housekeeping consistently fulfilled its duties. External partners for scooter rental and transfers were also reliable and pragmatic. The price was slightly above local averages, but the service was punctual, flexible, and hassle‑free (no issues with scooter maintenance or return). Minor issues included Housekeeping’s occasional lack of independence, such as empty toilet paper and soap dispensers, but these were resolved within minutes via WhatsApp. Mosquitoes were present, so insect repellent is a must; this is an unavoidable factor that guests should plan for. The location makes scooter riding almost essential; traffic in Lovina is much more pleasant than elsewhere. Online taxi services work within Lovina/Buleleng, but for trips to the south a transfer is recommended.

“Decent adress 45 min from the lakes.”

The room was spacious and opened directly onto the pool, and the staff were very welcoming even though I booked last minute at night. The bathroom needs some repairs.
